Simultaneously in 20 cities and towns on 18-19-20 November!

Is the world going for better or worse? We do not know the answer to this question, yet we know we live in a period in which we need to hear stories of kindness and ponder the good more than ever. In its ninth year, “Sustainable Living Film Festival” organized by the voluntary efforts of the Sustainable Living Collective, aims to make these stories visible through documentaries.

Born with a dream of a collaborative, open, fair and understanding society which embraces diversity and values life on planet,  Sustainable Living Film Festival (SLFF) has spread over 20 cities and became a gathering that gives strength and inspiration to participants to create change in their lives. This year the festival will be held on 18-20 November under the leadership of Sustainable Living Collective, in cooperation with Surdurulebiliryasam.tv and Butterfly Effect Association for Sustainable Living.  The official selection of SLFF 2016 with impressive stories of creative solutions will be free of charge as in the last 9 years. The festival will also host two directors; Christopher Beaver, the director of Racing to Zero, and Tuvi Arbel, the director of Wings of Change.

“I do not know if movies can change the world, but the people who watch them can”[1]

Sustainable living is only possible if we all act together! As  a specie capable of shaping the planet , it is in our hands to create a world where life flourishes… Maybe all we need is to reach the consciousness that this is possible. In order to spread this awareness and contribute to the creation of the much needed new story, carefully selected documentary films from different countries will meet the audience in 20 cities with the support of hundreds of volunteers.

Diversity is Key to Sustainable Living

With the awareness that a sustainable life is only possible through diversity, Sustble Living Film Festival (SLFF) aims to bring together participants from all segments of the society. Farmers, business owners, corporate employees, public and local administrators, teachers and students, parents that worry about the future of their children, academicians and activists are all invited to the festival.
